Hi, I'm Lee-Ann—a landscape and travel photographer with a love for chasing light, wide open spaces, and the stories hidden in everyday moments.

I started taking photography seriously in 2018, and it's been a journey ever since. What began as a simple way to capture beautiful places has turned into a passion for preserving memories—whether it's the stillness of a mountain at sunrise or the energy of a new city street.

For me, photography is about more than just taking a picture. It's about holding on to the feeling of a place and sharing that with others. I’m always looking for that perfect mix of light, mood, and composition that makes a photo feel like a memory.

I love taking photos in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, as well as both the maritimes and west coast. The views are spectacular.

Photography changed my life

For me, photography is more than art; it's a way to preserve memories, experiences, and emotions. Each image serves as a time capsule—an invitation to pause, reflect, and reconnect with a moment in time.

My favourite Photo

I have a difficult time choosing my favourite photo. It is a similar task to choosing my favourite song, or favourite food. It's not easy and definitely changes.

This photo of Bow Lake in Banff, Alberta is special to me. We stayed at the lodge and this particular morning, it looked like the sky was completely overcast. We went out anyway and the sun started to peak through. Just like life, the light changes and you never know what you're going to get.

I love the way this one turned out. With that said, this photo is my favourite this month...haha. By next month I hope I will have taken a new photo that I love even more!
