The American Southwest feels like stepping onto another planet. Utah offers a stunning mix of fragile beauty and raw, rugged terrain — a reminder that in this desert state, the land itself is the most compelling subject I could ever hope to capture. In Monument Valley, sandstone monoliths rise like ancient sentinels under an endless sky, their silhouettes glowing red at dawn and dusk.

And then there’s the Grand Canyon: an unfathomable chasm of layered rock and shadow, where rim views feel both intimate and impossibly vast. In the Southwest, the land itself is the story — raw, timeless, and shaped by wind and water — and my photographs are my way of honouring that rugged, surreal beauty.
